Contest Announcment Brandywine BBQ Fest

The Brandywine Convention Centre in Monticello, IN is holding their 1st Annual BBQ Competition on October 8th, 2011. The entry fee is $100 per team....ya, that's cheap...it's our first year. We are first and far-most concerned about people getting together for a good time and great BBQ. Categories this year are Brisket, Chicken, Ribs, & Side Dish. We are very thankful to our supportive community which has generously donated advertising, t-shirts, meat, a fully loaded green egg, and tasty craft beer, to name a few. Sinister Bikes will be holding a Bike show. The local ladder is bringing a fire truck for the kids. We will be featuring a full bar tent, including People's Brewery from Lafayette. Did I mention that if this event goes well this year, next year it will be a KCBS sanctioned event, hopefully the addition of a full scale rodeo.
