Looking for metal dealer in Northern Va?

Im going to start the construction of the UDS next week and unfortunately am new to Alexandria, VA. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to find a place which sells expanded metal to make the firebox? Google isn't helping me out

Your local HD or Lowes should carry it. You may have to get two pieces and fasten it together. You may also have to get some heavy duty cutters/bolt cutter to cut it to size.

Look in the Yellow Pages for metal yard, or metal supplier. Call them and ask if they sell "Drops". Drops are the leftovers after they cut a full sheet of metal and they save them in a bin. Here in Richmond, BMG Metals lets you look thru the bin for yourself and if you find something you can use they sell it cheap
