Got a call at BIB !
Well the hard work finally paid off and I got 2 calls at Big Island BBQ Saturday.
I couldn't have done it without help from this forum and all of the information that you all share - Thanks. We scored 1st place in chicken ! I think that the chicken is the hardest to get right as the skin always plays a big roll in getting it done right and I finally pulled it off. We also took 7th place in desert. I got a few pictures of the chicken turn in box and will post a pic of it when i find my camera.

Congrats! I just gave kudos to the forum for their help for my first competition. There is no doubt that the Brethren know their stuff. Unlike most group thought situations where "none of us is as dumb as all of us" this forum really brings out some awesome information!

Great job on the Chiken call!! This was our teams 2nd contest and my 3rd. We took 6th in Ribs and 1st in Pork. What a great weekend. Nice to meet all the Brethren there. It was a blast.
