Default New member... grilling fraldinha!

Hi all, I'm new to this forum, hope to learn and contribute... Grilled for 25 people last weekend on a improvised block + tin foil grill. Cooked flap steak (aka bottom sirloin flap meat, bavette, fraldinha) with just salt.

Quick sear close to the coals and then 40-50 min of medium heat (2 blocks height)

flap2.bmp

flap3.bmp

I forgot to take pics after cutting the meat :(

I think the pictures look great. Great idea when you are in a pinch and don't have the equipment.

Nice. I did that a few weeks ago at a friends when the propane tank was empty on the gasser. Everyone thought I was MacGyver.
