Does anybody have a good "how too" or recipe for bacon wrapped asparagus?

I have heard it's good and would like to try it but don't have a clue how to get started!!!

Default Bacon wrap asparagus

We use an olive oil spray on the asparagus, salt, pepper, garlic powder and wrap. Cook on a hot fire until your bacon reaches the desired crisp.

I do basically this same thing, except I also hit it with a bit of lemon pepper. Either way though (even if you leave it plain), it's gonna be good!

I take three spears, lay them side by side and run a toothpick sideways through them top and bottom. Then I take a piece of bacon and put it over the end of the toothpick at the bottom and wrap it to the top where I hook it over the end of the toothpick there. Salt and pepper and garlic salt. Cook til bacon is cooked to your liking.

Try this:

EGGFEST 2011
Prosciutto wrapped Asparagus
with Lemon Citronette
Jackie Maehl
Ventura, CA

2-lb. asparagus
½ lb thinly sliced prosciutto

Preheat grill to 400*

Snap off bottom of each asparagus
Wrap asparagus in a thin slice of prosciutto
Grill for about 3-4-min. a side

Lemon citronette:

Grated zest and juice of one lemon
2 t Dijon mustard
¼ C extra virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 ½ T finely chopped thyme

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon zest, juice and mustard.
Continuing
to whisk, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until emulsified and smooth.
Add thyme, and salt & pepper to taste.

I'm with Ross... I prefer proscuitto, as it doesn't need to cook the same amount as bacon, and has a great flavor, too.
