Default Ohmahgerd Perdperk w/ pron

I have been on a pulled pork kick since I have a bunch of friends that have been asking me try mine since I post facebook pictures of it. So today I had to make some so I can bring some to work for some co-workers.

I decided to try the hot and fast method for the first time. Smoker was crusing at 320 the entire time. I got it a 8.7lb bone in butt on at 11:30AM, after about 3.5 hrs internal temp hit 160, and I panned it up and foiled it with some gingerale and cooked till the bone wiggled out. The pork butt was pulled off the smoker at about 7:30PM. Total cook time of about 9hours.

I didnt want to do the typical pulled pork sandwich since I have had a bunch the last several weeks. So I whipped up some homemade guacamole and home made salsa and made pulled pork tacos!

I'll shut up now.

Burp!

Thanks pwa. I took your advice on the hot and fast and wanted to give it a try so I wouldn't have to cook overnight.
