Duck Out Dinner

Working forensics can suck big time. I work international cases so I'm up all hours of the night. I managed to duck out for an hour today and pulled together something simple. It don't get any simpler than pork and a whiskey apricot sauce, corn, and potato chips. I pack it all up in a container and take it to work, dinner and breakfast is good to go!

And for you budding forensic investigators out there, can you spot the victim?

Well, the giant bullet hole in the Apricot is too obvious, so it must be something else. Are those ligature marks on that piece of pork on the far right!

The 'hole' has a rational explanation, it was from the pit. No ligature marks, the murder weapon was a knife.

The one on the right had previous injuries. The foiled corn has a logical explanation, they were already grilled and are wrapped to keep warm and prevent contamination.

I'll give you a hint. When you walk up on a crime scene certain things just stand out. For example, if you've got four women and three men, it stands to reason someone is missing.

Someone is missing. Now, is this missing person a victim, or is he/she our suspect? (I've already helped you out on the first post).

Although this IS the crime scene, there is evidence of a sauce in another room (namely the kitchen). The sauce showed up after the fact.

Grilled Food Suicide.

Yes. It happens. Our very own Zydecopaws had a meatball leap to it's death from the grate of his cooker. To me, it looks like this one was a jumper too.

Can you explain this?
