Default Removing Thermometer to Calibrate

I'd like to remove the thermometer from my new BGE to calibrate it, but I'm scared of just yanking it out. It's help inside by the little clip thing. How do I remove it?

Thanks very much.

Open the dome, gently slide the clip off. Piece of cake.
