This and baste with maple syrup a couple of time at the end-

1/4 cup turbinado sugar
1/4 cup salt free chili powder
2 teaspoons of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of ground white pepper

This is the most recent incarnation of my "Dynamite Rib Rub."

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup paprika
5 tbs black pepper
2 tbs coarse salt
4 tbs garlic powder
4 tbs onion powder
1 tbs Ground allspice
2 tsp cayenne (or to taste)
5 tsp ground clove
