9 9 9 and I don't care that the parsley could have been placed a lil better around the edge - all NINES. I can just taste it.

My thought would be a strong 8, but probably a 9...just want to see it shine/pop a little more, green a bit distracting...blah blah. I know each entry is individual merit, but sometimes there is something that looks and tastes so good that it doesn't matter what follows it...its gonna get rocked (human beings).

My initial thought was a 9, I'm about to taste great brisket so lets see if it can live up to its looks. If it does...big score time...if it doesn't????

9 in apperance, but I am going to guess that it is undercooked from the looks of the slices and burnt ends. That is just my thoughts. I could be wrong.

I think that box looks great.9! the only thing I could say is that the slices look thick, but that may just be the pic.

I would say excellent looking brisket box. I would give that a 9 all day! You even had some extra for the table captain.

Ok guys let me just say this..I've seen a lot of brisket pics posted lately and a lot of different opinions have been stated..there is such a fine line between overdone and perfect tenderness those of you that have cooked many briskets can attest to this fact..when i hit it with the probe i knew it was money, but when i cut the first slice I laughed out loud..Vince I know you've mentioned that feeling before.I had that same feeling that day!..anyway guys thanks for the feed back..here were our results
899
889
888
899
866(WTH)
989
first place was 174
we were 2nd with a 169.7 out of 65 teams

thanks again for looking!

I guess my biggest surprise is only 1 9 for appearance? As I said, I think it looks great. But everyone sees something different.
