Default Char Griller Outlaw mods?

Guys,

Is there a tutorial page on the Outlaw mods? I just want to mod one to get better temp control, then perhaps add other mods later. Any help would be appreciated, Jay

Sell it for as much as your can get, and build a UDS.

Sorry, but maintaining temps in a thin walled stick burner is a PITA. Been there, done that, it's not worth the time and effort. If you just like to play with fire, and don't care about how the food tastes, then they're fantastic!

Sorry for the up front and in your face style post, but just trying to save you lots of headaches. You can spend money and time doing all the mods, and it's still gonna end up being your direct grilling burger and steak rig.

Smoking on an el cheapo offset is entirely too much work.

Mine is the Pro and I have not seen the inside of the Outlaw but I assume it is the same. The only Mods I did to mine was, well none. For low and slow I do flip the Charcoal holder in the cooking chamber over and angle it down from the Firebox to direct the heat more evenly under the cooking grates.

I turned out some pretty darn good Pulled Pork with mine. I will say, it is really labor intensive for Fire Control.

Just recently I removed the Firebox and covered the opening back up. It really is a good Grill for Burgers and just about anything else. The Rotisserie is a big winner with me too. With the Firebox attached grilling could be a challenge because of the extra air source.
