Pipn' Hot - Looks like they may not have turned in chicken??? Or maybe it was DQed. I think this was an IBCA contest...not sure what the DQ rules are for those guys.

Isint this usually a much larger contest Thom, i see a lot of big names missing?

We have had 59 teams in the past
Reality is the music crowds take up so much more room every year
I was limited to 30 teams
The three night stay, closing on $5 a gallon,
Sams series, Vegas Cook off and $6500 purse
make us a unlikly choice for distant travel cooks

Thanks all, we are on cloud nine. This is the best we have ever done at a contest, and our first RGC.

A big thanks to Jim @ Temeque BBQ! He let us borrow one of his monster, insulated smokers and it worked great. We cooked some of our comp meat on it and a ton of a Taste of BBQ Ribs, and it worked great!!!!!
