Question Avacado wood

Someone in my area is advertising this to use for BBQ. Anyone try it before? Is it good is it safe?

I heard that any hard wood is fine. Avocado is fruit right? A friend of mine smokes with walnut, havent tried it yet though. I would love to hear how it works.

I know avocado leaves are great for cooking, especially with Mexican food, use like a bay leaf.

I heard there are some crazy people in California that are smoking with eucalyptus.

I use avocado all the time for any red meat. Works great! Has a nice mellow flavor.

Here's some ribs done with avocado wood.

Here's some wings I did with avocado and an explanation.
