Default Tiernan Son of Brisket 4-48

What are your guys opinions on this as a smoker?

It looks like it would grill fine, just not sure how it would go as a smoker.

If anyone has some more detailed pics of this thing that would be helpful too.

Don't know anything about them and don't have one.
Looking at the link, though....seems a bit steep for what it is. Even if it's a high quality thick steel (can't see what they're made of on the site) it's essentially just a grill. Sure it can be used as a smoker by piling up fuel in one side and meat on the other, but just seems like a lot of dough for a grill.

Then again......I'm a cheap arse.

If it were me....I'd rather have a barrell type smoker with a side firebox. There's lots of offsets out there for comparable money, IMO.



I mean....it's a nice lookin grill......but $800 for a grill?

It is 5 years old - appears to be in good condition and is only $175.
