It was a lite cook so no need to sanction, but it was run straight KCBS and the judges were all CBJs. I will be polling teams this year at all the competitions I Rep to see how they feel about garnish and will pass the information to the KCBS board.

Jim,
I know alot of the comments I have seen from other discussions of those that like it. Like it for what would appear to be the wrong reasons, not reasons that suggest how functional, or necessary based on its own merrit. It's usually something that refers to covering up mistakes, or it leaves somebody out of a job, because their job is the garnish in the box. |
