go to foodsaver.com and register for their email specials. be patient. you will get some good deals direct from them. Also if you have a Kohl's near you, watch their weekly ads for deals. I buy my bags from ebay store- foodsaver-king. I buy the large rolls and just re-roll part of them so that they will fit in my unit.

My girlfriend just gave me a Cabela's CG-11 for my birthday. That thing is awesome!!! It will really pull a vacuum.

I have a FoodSaver, but was very disappointed in its quality. Half the time it wouldn't seal or it wouldn't vacuum. Lately I've been using the ZipLock pump and bags available in any grocery store--they work every bit as well and for far, far less than the FoodSaver, and with no initial investment of your retirement fund!

Their newer products suck!. You need to go with the original made in Italy.
