Default Freezing uncooked spareribs

I am lucky where I live that pork is big business. It is raised locally on a large scale and I can always find fresh, unfrozen meats. Therefore, I always cook fresh, and not frozen. I recently got a vacuum sealer and am considering buying spareribs on sale, trimming them SL style, vacuum sealing, and freezing them. Does anyone here do this and is it as good as fresh?

Fresh is always better, but lets face it. If you buy in larger quantities you have to do something. I always freeze the extra stuff that I buy.

You might be able to tell some difference, but not enough to make me stop freezing.
