Default Hello from the UK

Hello all finally got around to joining after sitting in the background for the last 4 months. Not much in the way of BBQ talk here in the UK (few forums but not nearly so active) but have learnt a lot on here but needed a quick translator for some of the meat cuts, my butcher looked very confused when I asked him for a picnic, think he thought I wanted to take him to the park for a date!!

Welcome to the group JEC.

You think getting your butcher in the UK to give you a picnic is hard. You should try to get a guy from Russia working in a butcher shop in Cyprus (that consumes literally 99% pork or lamb) to give you brisket or a good ribeye.

Welcome to the madness. By the way, how did your picnic date go with your butcher?
