BBQ PHX and Keggers. Solid job by all and congrats to everyone that got a call.

Word on the beach is that it was crazy busy for People's Choice. We heard that the Fire Marshall closed the gate due to overcrowding (unconfirmed). How was the PC side of this event?
1616 samples Crash. Never seen anything like it.

Wanted to say thanks to everyone for the congrats. We had a great weekend with an amazing bbq community out in AZ and the weather couldn't have been better. I would recommend both contests (Wildomar and Scottsdale) to any teams looking for future contest to enter.

Default Nice job to all of you

Congrats to Swine Assassins and Rhythm n Que on the fine weekend.

Also, to McFrankenboo for tearing it up and Otis and the Bird for the fine showing.

The BBQ Czar was a week early...I had Swine Assassins and Rhythm n Que going 1/2 in Wildomar the previous event.

Good job Erin and Jim and my main man Jaybird. Had the Jambo working that brisket.

Thanks, Scottie and to everyone else for the kudos and kind words. We really appreciate it.

Scottie, Jaybird abandoned the Jambo, at least for brisket, and is back to weaving his magic on a 22" WSM.

Vince, you and Alexa are incredible!!

Yeah Scottie, my brisket just wasn't coming out on the Jambo like I used to do. It's just me not the cooker so I had to go back to the WSM. I guess it worked!!!

It was a great time with all of our AZ friends down there. PC was wild with 1,151 sold tickets.

They only regret was our ribs that kept us out of the top 5! Just goes to show you, you have to stay on your game all the way through.

Congrats to all that walked and thanks to the judges, organizers and all the volunteers that make an event like that happen.

Thanks

Rod
