Default Southwestern Rubbed Ribeyes on the Weber Kettle (w/photos)

I took these out of the fridge to room temp, while waiting, thought i'd indulge in a 'tini and listen to some 'Trane.
WARNING: Listening to Trane is Addictive!!

Rubbed the ribeyes with a Southwestern rub I found in this book. (chili powder, gran garlic, dry mustard, paprika, grd coriander & grd cumin)

while they hung around, got out a large 15" CI skillet filled with sliced sweet onions and fingerlings...

then removed the taters to another CI server...

...to make room for sliced 'bellas and sweet baby peppers.

a short time later, everything was taken from the kettle...

...and the ribeyes went on.

last time i grilled steak (last week), liz' was under-cooked... so tonight, i was prepared.

Grilled to a perfect rare/medium-rare...

...and it was pretty tasty.

Thank you for swingin' by I very much appreciate it.
Enjoy this wonderful weekend!

Thanks for this post, the food looks delicious and I'm jamming out to Mr. P.C now.
Love the sax. Also the violin.
