Default CBBQA Competition BBQ Class

I attended the California BBQ Association's competition BBQ class this past weekend. Wow! What a great experience!

The class was taught by David Bouska of Butcher's BBQ and he shared everything he does in a contest, no holds barred! What a class act!

He explained what he does, why he does it and showed how to do it. He answered every question asked of him openly and honestly.

I learned so much from the class, it is unbelievable!

Thanks to David Bouska for coming out and sharing your information with us, and the CBBQA for putting on this top notch event!

Here is a pic from after the class. Myself and my wife are on the right.

The CBBQA does do a good job of outreach and education about BBQ

I also helped with a Backyard BBQ 101 class on Saturday and got to meet some Brethren on both days!

A lot of folks learned a ton about BBQ and we raised some money for children's charities.

It was a great day for BBQ in California!

The weather was better on Saturday for the Backyard class. We've definitely had more than our fair share of rain this year. But it could have been worse, and I don't think the weather hampered anything.

Nice to finally meet you in person Brian!
