Default S Central IN Apple wood for sale by the rick

FYI.....

Just got a text from a buddy that there's a place in Trafalgar, IN (about 30 min S of Greenwood on SR135) called The Appleworks that is selling apple wood by the rick.

Don't know a price. Just called them but they're closed.
Here's their website if anyone's interested and in the area.

For the right price it would be worth the drive to me. I have friends that live in Greenwood that I haven't seen for awhile.

Just got them on the phone.

$45/rick.
Cut this winter, so it's probably not seasoned just yet.
Since that's a reasonable price for your "standard" firewood, I'd say that's a good price for smokewood.

Didn't think to ask them if it's splits or rounds, but hey......it's APPLE!

I live (literally) behind an apple orchard and I know the owners, so I get plenty of apple from their storm damage/trimmings pile every spring so I don't need any, but for the rest of you.......

Default apple

wow. My wife works at the library in Trafalgar so we're going to try and get in on this too. but I don't think we can until payday next week. think they will still have some?

update. She called them and they said they have a bunch. so looks like next week I'm making a trip and filling up the truck.
