I decided I wanted to add a thermometer to the MUDS so I went to the local Ace hardware and picked up a couple of 3/16" brass compression fittings. I removed the brass ferule and replaced it with 2 Buna-N orings. I installed the fittings .5 inch below each rack and will use a cap on the rack that I'm not using.
![]() ![]() I also gave it a coat of gloss black engine paint and added 2 handles. Hopefully tomorrow I can add a stove gasket to the bottom to get a better seal. Thanks for looking.
