Default So who made way too much food for the Super Bowl?

My friend bought everything and I was the chef
20 adults, 10 kids

BBQ:
20 pounds of pulled pork (precooked weight)
brisket flat, I want to say like 7 pounds

Turkey Fryer:
75 wings
Sams club bag of boneless
moz sticks
tater tots
mini corn dogs

and that didn't include all of the dips. It was rather obscene....tons of leftovers. Well, no brisket!

The Super Bowl and Thanksgiving are the 2 days where you can eat and drink as much as you want and it doesn't count......

For about 15 people I smoked an 11# packer, 8# butt, 3 racks baby backs, and made a batch of Keri's Apple Beans. My buddy brought 10# of wings. Plus everyone else who came brought some kind of snack. The fridge and freezer are packed!!

Count me in, I did a pork butt, 7 bone beef roast, slaw, potato salad, beans, chips and dips...My son and his friends didn't show up..I had to resort to bringing plates to my neighbors, but left overs are cool.

this year, we did virtually nothing and invited only immediate family. Between weather here in DFW, work, and a commitment I had for Saturday we just didn't have the time, energy, or desire to do a feed.

I still fired up the BGE and picked up some Papa Murphy's pizza.....and yes I DID buy too much, but nobody went home hungry, and people did take leftovers home.

If everybody had a good time, and there was some leftover food without putting anybody into foreclosure it's a win/win

I did. My son and 4 of his friends and all there girlfriends were coming over. All the boys showed up but none of the girls. All the boys ate were wings and pulled pork. They did't touch the beans, slaw, salads or deserts we made.

10 giant chicken breast, 2 racks of beef ribs, 4 racks of spares with trimmings, a dozen scotch eggs, hot links and chicken apple sausage. We had a lot left over.
