Lang Smoker Latch????
I am working on my cooker, and i really dont want to use the red handled compression latches on the vertical cooker i am building over the firebox.
Someone told me to do a latch like a Lang has. Can someone take some pics of their latch system on the vertical warming box door? I have a design in my head to use (like a gun safe door, handle operates bolts all along the edge of the door) but if something simpler to build will work to seal a 36" wide by 48" tall door around the top, side, and bottom i will save the time and do it. thanks in advance. |

Someone here that has a Lang might take a pic of theirs and post it for you, but you can see videos of the pits features on their website also. If I had a Lang I would send a pic myself....I would also be very happy!
