Yup... It's about that time again.

Yup. Free seeds; if I've got what you want. As far as the pic, nope, just a pic I found of "peter peppers."
I'll be concentrating on growing relatively mild but flavorful PASILLA BAJIO and POBLANO peppers from newly-bought seed this year since I've still got maybe 5 pounds each of smoke-dried habanero and jalapeno powder

Mark--
Once I settle into CO maybe I'll hit you up for a variety that grows on the short side. In that case I can start um indoors and transplant them to flower and harvest them.

I started germinating my pepper seeds about 8 weeks ago. My Tabasco and Jalepeno's are already in the ground and in pots. Need to get to work on my Habenero's. Of course, this is South Florida and winters are almost non-existent. I had a Tabasco "Bush" in my garden for about three years that never stopped producing peppers until Hurricane Jeanne turned it into kindling! :(

How do we get mailing address to you? Can you PM through this forum? (I've not looked yet). Would you like a self addressed stamped envelope? Do you have a good procedure for how to start from seed? I've tried to germinate them in the past...with damp paper towel in a glass till they sprouted..but, never have been able to get them to survive past this stage.. cayenne |

I'll try and post a better inventory this weekend. Habaneros (red & orange) & Jalapenos are definately covered. Then just PM me your mailing address along with specifically what/how many you want.

Do you have a good procedure for how to start from seed? I've tried to germinate them in the past...with damp paper towel in a glass till they sprouted..but, never have been able to get them to survive past this stage.. Cayenne, Go to Home Depot and look in the area where they keep their seed packages (usually inside), and look for Jiffy All-In-One Greenhouse's. It comes as a kit. You get a 12 x 12 tray with a clear lid and germinating pellets. These little round pellets swell up the instant you put water on them. Once watered, place your seed or seeds inside and put the lid on the tray. The lid acts as a greenhouse and before you know it, you'll have sprouts. Then all you do is place the whole enlarged pellet and sprout in the soil of your garden (or pot). As it matures, the roots will break thru and enter the soil. No more shock of transplantation! Works great, you ought to try it!
