It Finally Got Cool Enough for Gumbo!

Houston got a break from the oppressive heat this week, so I decided to cook a batch of Gumbo in the slow cooker!
Boneless, skinless chicken Thighs , Sausage and Shrimp !

I like Gumbo hot or cold and I like Gumbo when the weather is hot, cold or anything in between. Yours looks great.

You need to know we have power plugs where we have the Texas Fall Bash located in Belton. So...we expect to see you there with this great gumbo next year! We will gladly settle for just you, however.
