1st Ribs and pulled pork!!
Finally made did a nice long smoke today. Woke up at 3am to fire the smoker up. to cook a few butts and racks of ribs!
Started making my Rub, (Brown sugar, Hungarian paprika, Black pepper, Salt, Garlic Powder, Onion powder, Crushed celery seed, Cayenne pepper) IMG_5125.jpg And Chris Lilly injection IMG_5127.jpg Rubbed the butts down the night before and rested for 4 hours then reapplied the rub. wrapped them at 160 and pulled them at 195 IMG_5128.jpg About 11am I rubbed my ribs down and put them on. IMG_5130.jpg smoke Ring on the butt IMG_5133.jpg after pulling no extra sauce or rub needed IMG_5136.jpg Smoke on the ribs IMG_5146.jpg Final rib product! IMG_5147.jpg All in all I learned a LOT about my pit and a few mods i need to make then she will be perfect |
