How about something different?

I don't recall seeing a Cornish Hen TD. I propose that we do a Cornish Hen TD:
The hens may be cooked whole, spatched, or halved, but I'd like there to be both white and dark meat together on a grill or smoker in the entries.

You may submit entries that are cooked from Friday 1/11 through Monday 1/28.

Entry pictures must be submitted by Noon Central US Time on Monday 1/28.

Best of luck and even better eats to all!

So I bought some Cornish "Eagles" for Sunday night's game. I brined them and was already to go until our 1"-3" snow forecast turned into 12". I roasted the birds in the oven and, after a scary First Quarter, watched the Saints make their way to the Division Championship next week against the Rams.

Oven cooked birds don't count, so I'll try again later. However, it looks like next weekend could be worse...

I cooked mine, but somehow lost the "Money Shot"
Have pics of the cook, but not the final plating.
I'll go ahead and enter tomorrow to get it going.

Please accept this as my official entry into the Cornish Game Hen throwdown.

I have never eaten or cooked a game hen, so I pretty much made it up as I went along. The results were quite good.
