Default Oakridge BBQ venison rub

I am going to smoke a pork shoulder and was wondering if I could venison rub. I have a sample packet and I thought, why not!

If you like the flavor profile, why not?

What??? you afraid it's gonna make it taste like deer?

I've used it on pork with very satisfactory results.

You'll love it. Our Venison rub kicks butt on pork.

Just wanted to put in a good word for a really unique rub.

I Just tried Mike's Venison Rub on some chicken breasts. The color and the flavor was outstanding! Just made an order on the Oakridge BBQ site for some more as the wife (That always likes my que) kept talking about how the chicken tasted "Fantastic" with this rub.

Happy Wife = Happy Life

Also bought a couple of the stainless steel shakers. I'm pretty clumsy with applying spices, so these will probably pay for themselves in reducing "Overspray".

Thanks for the kind words and the business!!!

I tell folks all the time to try our Venison rub on chicken or pork because it's really good on them too. But, I think they're scared off because it's labeled for venison. Kind of like what cholloway said above, I think people really do think their meat will come out tasting like venison... Thanks for being brave enough to give it a try! It's one of my personal favorites.
