Brisket Experiment II (pics)

You could just go ahead and slice the dry brisket so we can see the pics . ..
I was looking forward to the end of the experiment.

Sorry about the delay guys but yesterday was really long. MrsMista, Morgan, the dog and I all fell asleep on the couch.
Here is a pic of the dry rub brisket:

I couldn't discern any difference in taste or smoke ring. Sorry, there was no magic smoke ring bullet in using a wet paste instead of a dry rub.

Brisket was damned tasty, though...

Well?.....whats the experiment results?.....dont tease us with a promise of more pics and leave us hanging.

Of course now that I post this you post the pics while I was typing

I know it may be hard to tell from the pics, but the dry rub brisket looks to have a better smoke ring.

In your opinion Mista, which of the two briskets are better? I was thinking taste wise more so than just appearance?

The smoke ring in the dry brisket looked a bit brighter? Was that the case or just the photo? Both looked awesome though.

No big difference in taste. Vinegar and oil did nothing for the flavor of the wet.
