Default Chef's Choice 'Wow' factor

Hi,

For the judges out there, what Chef's Choice entry have you seen that had the most wow factor? What really stood out for you in a positive way?

Thanks,

Eric

I've never judged a sanctioned contest or an ancillary category, so take this with a grain of salt.

Our team has done many Chef's Choice/Anything Butt on top of competing in the 4 meat competition. The one thing that seems to stand out, besides cooking an awesome dish, is presentation. Presentation has a different overall appeal in the the ancillary categories that we have cooked. If you can WOW the judges right off the bat on presentation, you're half-way there.....IMO.

The judges might share the exact dishes, but you might find it hard for the cooks to do the same.
