Batten down the hatches soon...so they say. Still no wind here but that is supposed to change quickly.

lol it sure seems to.
Like Kieth we have some wind here in SW Mich, but not bad.
Looking at the forcast we're not really supposed to get over 20 mph steady and a few gusts.
Yesterday they were saying much worse.

When that storm came through here, it was one of the scariest storms I have ever seen. The wind whipped up so much that it was literally roaring like a freight train! I had an old gasser sitting on the patio and it blew it right over. Luckily my kettles were huddled close to the back porch and remained unscathed.

we're toward the bottom end tail of it here in Cincinnati. There are two lines of severe storms, the second one is the one appearing to be giving the 65-75. We just got the tornado warning as I am typing this, bad stuff right over us.
Luckily, I got my spatchcocked chicken done just in time.

Pouring rain by me, seemed like a good time to smoke a brisket flat. I was going to take a pic of the finished product but I forgot to.

Yep we made it through it and dinner came out great but we have been without power for a few hours. Luckily I have a generator we have been running off of.
Wind was crazy and have a couple trees down but the uds stood strong the whole time. With all the excitement today I didn't get any prOn pics.

We're outta power here too. It is still windy as all get out, and there's trees down in a lot of places. But all in all we're in good shape

Rained like the devil here, and the wind got nasty. Power went out several times this evening but not for long. Didn't stop me from smoking my butts for the PB&J Outreach though. :)
