Default Smoker build idea, help!

I recently scored two old 100 pound propane tanks. Both have had the valves off for over a year airing out. I've done the research on how to properly open them up and have been tossing around a couple different ideas. I'm goin to make a mini offset smoker. But my idea is since a 100 pound tank is only goin to really give me a little more cooking space than I already have. I thought about making a dual offset, what I mean is have both tanks mounted side by side on a cart, with one fire box for both. I would have a valve or vent so I could shut off one side. So in theory I would have double the cooking space for those big events(which doesn't happen for me too often. But if I'm just cooking a few racks of ribs or something could shut off one side. Does this make since or even sound worth the effort? I could also have one horizontal and one vertical, I've seen those before. What do y'all think?

Sounds interesting, give it a shot & post some pics. Even with valves off, I would still flush them with soapy water before torching or cutting, just to be safe. If this is your first build, you might want to search "bbq smoker calculator", there are some pretty handy tools out there to help with sizing your firebox, inlets, exhaust, etc.
