Default Bradley smokers

Hey y'all. This is probably a stupid question, but are Bradley Digital Smokers KCBS-legal? I've never used one or even seen them in action, so I can't tell if the heat is generated by the burning puck or the electric element.

I don't know if you care why they are not, but if you do ...

It's because Bradley Smokers are electrically heated. The disk simply smokes, it doesn't provide the heat. Unlike a pellet smoker where the pellets are the heating source as well.

If it don't come off a smoker, it's just a side dish!

Thanks. That's what I figured. I know Traegers are ok because the heat and smoke both come from the burning pellets, but I wasn't sure about the mechanism in the Bradleys.

I could have simply used the "search" feature in the site though and not have had to ask the question.
