It's really hard to appreciate the difference between these two grills without being in front of them. The lower photo shows the grill grate from the Kamado Joe Classic sitting in the larger grate from the Big Joe... The difference between 18" and 24" is significant...

Jeez! What's the weight on that monster?

Good looking set of cookers you have there

That baby makes the classic look tiny!!! you're gonna have to expand the deck soon!!!!:thumb:

Thanks everyone :) I can't wait to fire it up... Still deciding between brisket and ribs for the weekend break-in on the Big Joe...

Put the credit card down, and step away from the cookers! Lol! When I was deciding on my BGE I took a look at the large and the extra large. It took me about two seconds to decide I needed the XL. If Kamado Joe makes an extension rack for e Big Joe, that'll be more room than you ever need......well almost.

Just one question.

When you getting a Jambo? :heh:

I vote for a reverse seared 1.5" NY strip steak. That way you show the indirect/direct two zone fire setup. :thumb:
