FWIW, I bought a PK Classic after I bought a Weber 26. Bottom line is I’m now trying to sell the PK, and the Weber is my go to grill.

I have a classic and a 360. the classic cooks just as good if not better than the 360 (especially for steaks) , having said that my 360 is my everyday grill. it's more user friendly than the classic. if the price tag is a concern go with the classic , if not go 360 but whatever you do don't get the charcoal basket that PK sells. it doesn't have airflow worth a damn

... as your primary grill and smoker? As a grill, how many people do you cook for on a regular basis? Just curious.

I cook for 3, but meal prep so always cook extra.

Can you explain why?

The classic stand is shorter , the hinge is on the short side , you have to reach under the grill to control the intakes and it has no ash catcher. Now all of that is subjective to the user , but the 360 doesn’t have those above mentioned quirks

I have both the classic and the 360 and IMO they cook about the same other than the 360 is easier to dial in because of the better lower vent control.

The 360 has many upgrades over the classic which to me make it worth the additional cost.

I tried to think of a reason to buy one and could not justify it. I'm not sure what it does that a Kettle cant do as far as cooking ability.

My friend bought a classic from an estate sale and it was from the 60s. I was tasked to do a brisket on it and expected all sorts of issues but there was none. Just had to use a bowl for the first several hours to get more space. I really like the looks of the PK360 and the thick aluminum body. Much better than the porcelain body on the Webers.

PK 360 with grill grates, I cook Ribeyes more than any other meat so figured this would be the best tool for this job.

You won’t regret your purchase... my kettle has been relegated to rotisserie duty only since I got the PK360.
