Default The definitive charcoal poll for smoking

Seems like everyone wants to talk about charcoal these days. Which of these listed do you smoke with the most?

There's no poll. And I doubt that, even if there was, it would be definitive. There are some here who would argue to their last breath.

Why do you say there's no poll?

Kingsford Blue Bag Briquettes, Royal Oak Briquettes as Store Brand Briquettes, and Weber Briquettes.
They all work.
I've never seen the others, but I'd probably try them, if the price was right. It's all just a source of heat, I add wood to produce the smoke flavor.

My preferred source of smoke is not on the list. For smoking or grilling I mostly use royal oak lump.

Default Thanks Ron_L

Ron was kind enough to add Royal Oak Lump and Wicked Good to the bottom of the list. Sorry for the oversight. I know there will be others I missed but I really should have included those two, especially Royal Oak, from the beginning!
