Beer Anyone?

Look at post #22. I brewed it back in September on my brewery pictured below:

Sawdust, that looks awesome. :-D Must be an engineer lurking somewhere to produce a unit like that.

I don't have anything that professional looking, so I rely on conventional beer vendors for my favorites.

From Canada (not sure if you folks south of the border, can get these)
- Big Rock Traditional (my favorite and one of DivaQ's sponsors I see)
- Creemore Springs Lager

From Europe
- Pilsner Urqell (from Czech)
- Hoegarten Grand Cru (completely different from the standard Hoegarten)

From the US
- Shiner Bock
- Abita Amber
- Yeungling (my dirty little secret; it's a nice lighter beer)

Merry Christmas all,

John

I like beer. Beer is good. I'm a bit of a 'beer snob', yet I still enjoy a super ice cold Coors Light on a really stupid hot day (hey, it is almost a bottle of water, right?)

When I'm drinking a beer to really enjoy, I usually like a nice dark, full bodied beer. Hints of bitter chocolate and coffee with good malty flavors are nice.

I don't really pair my beers with my foods, but I'm not that sophisticated. I'm just a punk. ;)

Some of my favorites:

Chimay Grande Reserve
Corsendonk Abby Dark
Aventinus
Brooklyn Brown Ale
Three Philosophers
Delirium (Tremens, Nocturnum and Noel)

One of my favorites with Q...

Agreed. A great beer with Que. I was in Ensenada Mexico once and the bottles had the cap imprint in the bottom so you could open the next one with you empty bottle. Thought that was very cool.
