First Bratwurst

Made some bratwurst my BIL marshman dropped off last week...

Didn't have any pork fat to add to the recipe, so these were pretty lean. The recipe also called for nuteg which was quite prominent in the taste.
I grilled them and some onions on the Egg, raised indirect.

Served them with some kraut and spicy mustard. Marsh made some spatzle, and I made the rolls....

Baked onions,sauerkraut....man...if you pass me some mustard and brat sauce I'm all set!

Thanks guys - they definately needed a little pork fat, don't know that I would make this recipe again but I will others - I am liking this sausage making thing.
