Another winter build
Over the past year, I have collected different parts that are finally coming together in a trailer build. I picked up a boat trailer from CL, a fire box from CL (the guy built it for a shed heater and never used it), a Tejas Charcoal Grill from CL and a fuel oil tank from a friend.
A few weeks back I hauled the tank up to our cabin to cut it and burn it out. We welded hinges on it then as well. We heated his garage, invited my neighbor over who welds, and got cracking. I did not get a ton of pics since we were pretty busy, but I did get these. Note, the Tejas Grill had a homemade firebox added before I bought it. I cut that off today and will be converting it back to its original condition. Also, you will see plenty of room between each of the components. I plan to be able to haul plenty of wood, coolers and my huge cambro on a diamond plate or expanded metal floor. For those of you who have done builds, roughly what does it cost for sandblasting and painting for a whole trailer? Busy the next two weekends, but plan to have this done before spring. Good start. |
