Default Can i purchase a uds fire basket

I was thinking of doing the BPS kit, but the only thing I would really want to have done by someone else is the fire basket. Is there somewhere I can purchase one?

Maybe have a local fab shop build you one? Also might be able to find a local brethren who can build one.

They sell all the stuff to make one at Homo Depot. Get busy.

You can build one for less than $40.

I brought a 24x24 3/4" stainless steel expanded metal, cut it in half with a dremel then bolted together forming a ring. Then I bought some stainless steel zipties from Homedepot and bolted to a 18" weber grill.
Put some feet on it and you are good to go. no fuss no muss.

That's what I would do. Pick up a charcoal grate and take it to a local fab shop and have them weld on the expanded metal and what ever else you need done. Shouldn't cost much at all.

You can also buy all of the Big Poppa parts individually, if you like them.
