Pappy’s and salt + smoke is what I have circled. Is there another traditional St L bbq joint I need to go to over either of the two I mentioned?

Check out A Fine Swine BBQ. Not in St. Louis, but David has three or four locations. One may be close. He is a friend from BBQ competitions and from what I have heard from other friends he does an amazing job!

Yes, Sugarfire and Bogarts. I would put both over Salt n Smoke, but equal with Pappy's

There's a few pics and comments in this thread:

I enjoyed Bogarts and Pappys slightly more than Sugarfire. Didn't make it to salt and smoke.

Salt and smoke was a huge let down. Ordered the rib and brisket platter. Both dry af. And they cook Texas style brisket, and don’t cook true grilled STL ribs!!!
