Has anyone out there used wood pellets on an offset smoker??

Sure would take a bunch to make that much heat
I suppose a special design to not waste the heat could...........
You want the look without the work??

I have seen folks wrap a packet of pellets in foil for flavor, and cook with charcoal for heat.

We actually put a pellet pot/blower/gravity feed in a Kingfisher - And while it worked, as thom alluded too -- It ATE pellets to hold temp. And I mean ATE - like 40lbs in a cook vs. 10lbs, in a smaller or insulated cooker...

you might talk with Smokin' Guns - Linda posts on here. Phil has turned just about everything you can think of into a pellet cooker. And I know he has succesfully converted a kingfisher into a dual hopper/dual pot pellet machine.

I'm sure he might have some ideas

Thanks guys Im just toyin with the idea dont know what the heck im doing Im just another bozo :icon_clown on the bus, I logged on today and I couldnt even go to check my own post it wouldnt allow me?? any suggestions anyone
