Default salt pepper garlic brisket rub

4 T kosher salt, 2 T pepper, 2 T minced garlic, so the question is use this in conjuction with a mustard base or just rub it in as if grilling a big ole steak. 6.5 pound flat waiting in the fridge for this mix. thanks, Tom

Yeah... Just rub it. If it looks like it's not sticking then use a little olive oil.

Thank you for the RUB PRON!

Just rub in on. If you feel the urge for something more squishy then slather with mustard.

I found a killer recipe for a Brisket Marinade, which is not something I've done before...Just got a nice size COV flat from Sam's tonight...So I might try it on Sunday and let everyone know how it worked out.
