Default Pig Faces

Thought I'd cook up some of them pig faces everyones been talking about. Anyone got a good recipe I could use? Should I use a dry rub or mop them? About what temp would be good to get a smoke ring on them, low and slow or hot and fast?

Thats kinda creepy...

reminds me of the 'it puts the lotion on the body' guy from Silence of the Lambs.

Does it cook up like craklin? or is there actual meat on them faces?

Hmmm.... interesting. Eyeball holes and booger snouts that root around in s**t .
Though yet... I am still curious.

When I was in the Philippines I had what turned out to be a pigs head that gets boiled until there is just the skull left. They take all the meat and stuff like brains, eyes, etc and saute it with some crunchy veggie matter and seasoning. It was actually very good.

Gross, but good

The cheeks are great! I had some from Famous Daves at the MN state fair last year... they were very tender, glazed with a peach sauce on a stick!!
