Default buying charcoal (or lump) Online

Does anyone buy their fuel online or is it cheaper to just buy it in the store?

Since I don't have a local retailer that sells Wicked, I buy it on-line. But the shipping cost is a killer.

I regularly buy mine locally. I'm also fortunate to have a pecan tree in my yard that supports my smokin' habit.

Check out doitbest.com if you don't want shipping charges. You gotta put in your zip and see if they ship to a nearby store, and they carry a lot of stuff, including RO and various wood chunks. I just picked up my second doitbest order yesterday: a big 40 lb. bag of RO chef select briqs.

What Dave said.
The free ship to store is awesome, and I love the ROCS briquettes.

^^^what they said - doitbest is a great option if it's available. I ordered some charcoal online just to try out different types, but the shipping cost makes it not really worth it.
