5pm- lit up the chimney and had a killians while it set up

Used the all purpose rub



Could have fit way more!



Chugging' along



Sweet potato



Gave it a little shot of heat at the end by cracking the lid (crisp things up)



Here is max pretending not to want any on the hope that I will offer

Unbelievably juicy. In fact, I cooked it to a higher temp than I normally cook chicken to (180 at the thigh before I pulled it //// got busy with he kids) and if you look closely at the pic, you can see the clear juice in the middle of the plate.

The sweet spuds cooked perfectly and next I will come up with a way to hang my other veg like asparagus and Brussel sprouts. Threw the hooks into the dish washer.

Gonna add some pecan chunks to the fire today and try some St. Louis ribs.

Actually, my wife broiled it in our oven with some garlic powder and kosher salt, it was fantastic. She does Brussel sprouts this way as well
