Default Surf & Surf on the Chimney

First, a testimonial. In a recent thread Ron_L shared that he had scored a super chimney from superdan. I saw it, wanted one and superdan was great to work with. I've been using it for a month or so - an absolutely great product!

Any who, tonight we wanted something light & simple and our fish monger came through: jumbo shrimp, some medium diver scallops and Cedar Key clams. I've been wanting to use the really trick grill top superdan sent me and this was the perfect chance. Fired up some leftover homemade lump from burgers last night.

Heated up the grill top and seared the skewered shrimp.

Then seared the diver scallops.

Added some Cedar Key farm raised clams in garlic butter and a little ceasar salad and dinner was the bomb!

Thanks for watchin.

I been doing it like this since I saw Alton Brown do it on Good Eats. Great technique. Thee best for grilling tuna. Your food looks great!! Especially the scallops.
