Its my dads birthday. He has requested pulled pork and ribs. Nothing festive about it, but it will be delicious.

So you're cooking yourself?

I'm not cooking anything. I'll be having dinner with Brother NCGrimbo in North Carolina. Anyone if the area is welcome to join us.

Corned beef, cabbage and Irish soda bread. The one day the grill isn't going to be used Cooking the corned beef as usual in Guiness and the cabbage will simmer in hard cider and sugar.

Cook one the day before for cold sandwiches on rye and the other the day of for a hot plate. Can never have too much corned beef leftovers! Love this time of year!

I'm doing Pitmaster T's Night Train experiment tomorrow.

Today, my wife and I are going to a local pub mid-afternoon and plan to stay well into the live music sets. Believe it or not, this will be my first ever visit to a pub during St. Patty's Day celebrations. (Guess I don't get out much. )

Pork butts. Lots of pork butts.
And probably some chickens too.
Oh, and a bunch of fish.
Maybe a brisket too.

YEAH BABY!

Happy St. Patty's Day Brethren!
